New Industrialisation and Technology Training Programme
New Industrialisation and Technology Training Programme 新型工業化及科技培訓計劃 (NITTP) is a funding scheme under the Innovation and Technology Fund that subsidises local companies on a 2:1 matching basis to train their staff in advanced technologies, especially those related to “New Industrialisation”.
What type of companies is eligible to apply for the training grant?
Companies that meet the following 3 conditions will be eligible to apply for NITTP -
- Registered in Hong Kong under the Business Registration Ordinance (Cap. 310)
- Non-government and non-subvented organisation
- Hong Kong permanent resident with the necessary background / experience relevant to training course
The maximum annual funding is HK$500,000 for each eligible company. 50% of the approved training grant can be released to the companies upon request before course completion.
Approved NITTP offers up to 2/3 course fee reimbursement upon successful applications.
